I never quite truly believed it when family and friends near and far used to tell me... "time will run away with you when you have kids", and here we are, in 2019, picking it up where we left off.
So what's changed?
I went on to have another baby in 2017 and we named her Ava Rose, she truly is one amazing, strong (willed) and nonetheless, funny little person. I have not yet met a toddler as determined as she is. Hey, let's hope she will go places later and not lead a gang in prison right? Ha-ha.
I have learnt so much throughout the years and I cannot wait to share the journey with you all. Let's have a little heart to heart- one of the reasons I have been gone from here was I went from loving writing everything down to being filled with dread at the thought of coming on here. Why, you ask? As the years went on, all the blogs have become more and more fancy, and instagram filled with more and more beautiful content that must have taken the creators some time to edit and beautified. That, for me, was not fun. I find that I tend to like writing in the moment, when something sparks joy (Hello, Kon Marie) inside of me, instead of a long, choreographed blogpost like the one I'm writing now! I promise this started off very much a "heat of the moment" blogpost, OK I'm now rambling!
I am looking forward to sharing with you everything "Mevis Cassey", be it my best effort to become an aspire minimalist, anything and everything self improvement, Pilates/ Barre/ Yoga, my love for natural skincare (Tropic, I'm talking about you), working harder on sustainability and trying to do more for our planet with our little girls in tow, sharing fashion/ home/ interior/ beauty/ lifestyle/ life as an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher and everything in between!
